Girls For A Change (GFAC) is making history. Next year, our building will be knocked down and built back up as a bigger, better facility for Black girls and for the Richmond community. While we undergo this $5.5M project, we still have programs to run and Black girls to serve. We need your support to help us continue our ongoing work preparing Black girls for the world, and the world for Black girls.

Give through your business with the
Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP)

The purpose of the Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP) is to encourage businesses, trusts and individuals to make donations to approved 501(c) (3) organizations for the benefit of low-income persons. In return for their contributions, businesses, trusts and individuals may receive tax credits equal to 65 percent of the donation that may be applied against their state income tax liability.

Show your customers you care and help drive sales by donating a percentage of sales from your products, services, events or auctions. You must receive approval from and enter into an agreement with GFAC before engaging in any third-party fundraising activity.

Fundraising activities that support the GFAC mission and strategic initiatives will be considered. Please understand that GFAC cannot approve requests that promote the sale of cigarettes, items that are harmful to an individual’s health, adult or pornographic materials, or any items that could be considered, by the ordinary person, to be in bad taste or inconsistent with our mission or the fundamental principles of GFAC.

When you invest in Black Girls and other girls of color by donating to Girls For A Change, you are doing more than donating to a one-time event, seasonal program, or short-term experience. You are giving these girls a multitude of experiences, exposure, and opportunities over the course of their youth and adolescence that will:
